Modern Foreign Languages: Spanish

At Foxhills Junior School, we have chosen to introduce our children to the language and culture of countries where the main language spoken is Spanish.  Our curriculum is carefully sequenced to build new knowledge gradually over time, developing children's ability to read, write, speak and listen to the Spanish language.  Through this, we aim to develop a life-long love of languages in our children so they are inspired to continue their learning through the next stage of their education - whether they choose to continue with Spanish, or to take up different languages instead.
