Travel to school
We strongly encourage you to leave cars at home, and walk or cycle to school as much as possible. Alternatively, we have many park and stride locations for you to use to support with this endeavour if you live too far away to walk the entire journey.  If you do drive to school, please continue to observe the one-way system we use: access from A326, into Knellers Lane and then along Foxhills, to support us with reducing congestion around school at either end of the day.

Access to the school site

No moving vehicles on site 8:20 to 08:45am and 15:00 to 3:20pm

We have amended our drop off and collection times to enable our Parents who hold a blue badge to drive onto the school site.  Blue badge holders will be able to access the site at 8.15am (must be off site by 8.20am) or at the later time of 9.15am. Blue badge holders will need to collect their child at 14:30 every day (must be off site by 14:35). Restricting access to these times allow the site to be vehicle free, which safely supports pedestrians to use the driveway and pathways to enter and leave the site.  We ask that parents accessing the site by foot, use a ‘keep to the left’ rule, as we would on a normal road. The two pathways down each side of the driveway will be one-way systems (the left pathway “in” and the right one “out”). We ask parents to strictly adhere to this guidance. To reduce the number of people on site, we ask that only one parent accompanies their child on the school run.  

We are trailing repositioning the bike and scooter racks to the roundabout for Infant school children only. This will avoid the pathway becoming congested and will allow for more distancing. You are welcome to cycle or scoot the entire length of the driveway, but please keep to left hand side of the drive and be mindful that there will also be pedestrians using the same route!
